Wow, this summer has just flown by. There have already been two High School Flights, and one Gals
Journey held at Mercy Center this summer. Our God has really been busy in the lives of those young caterpillars.What a blessing! Now, there is still one more Young Men’s Journey to be held, and it will be at the Mercy Center on Aug 19-22. Don Stone is the Lay Director, Ryan Brown will be the Youth Lay Rep, and Dan Chrestman will be the Spiritual Director. The team is ready, we have some caterpillars ready to go, however; there are still quite a few openings. So, please send us your young men to experience God in a way they probably have never imagined. There is still plenty of time, so get busy with those applications, and send them in.
It is a Joy to serve the Chrysalis Community. The blessings are innumerable, and friendships
are formed that last a lifetime. But most importantly, as a community we get see the power of
God unfold right before us, and witness the wonderful transformations in the lives of our young people. So, let’s continue our support of our youth at send off on Thursday August 19th at 6:30pm, then again at candlelight on Saturday night starting at 8pm, and finally at the closing ceremony Sunday afternoon at 4pm. You’ll be glad you were there, and God will bless us with new set of caterpillars from Young Men’s Journey #20.
