Greetings in the Name of Messiah Jesus,

The mission of Kairos is to bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them.  In addition, Kairos assists the incarcerated in the transition to becoming a productive citizen.

It is a great blessing to serve on a Kairos team and witness the Lord working with men, loving them, calling them, inspiring them, and redeeming them.  There is a place for everyone who would like to participate in reaching out to those who have broken the law and are now incarcerated.  Only men are able to work inside Montford Prison ministering directly to the offenders.  Both men and women are able to indirectly serve incarcerated men as members of the outside support team, the backbone of Kairos.  The outside support team under girds every facet of the inside team’s ministry by managing agape, providing encouragement, preparing food, taking inventory, lifting prayer, and transporting materials to facilitate the ministry inside the prison.

  • If you have never been involved with Kairos, then consider this your invitation to learn more about serving God in prison ministry, “… I was in prison and you came to visit me.  …. The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25:36c, 40)

  • If you were involved with the Kairos Prison Ministry in the past but have not served since Kairos #20, please pray about joining the Kairos #24 team.

May the Lord bless and keep you.  May He make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you.  May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.  May it be so, in Jesus’ High and Holy Name, Amen.

In His love,
